A Little Bit About Me

I began practicing yoga in 2010 as a step on the path to self-love. I’m both humbled and honored to share this light with others. Sarah has a MA from SMU where she spent time studying in India, received her initial 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2012 through Gaia Flow and an additional 300-hour advanced yoga training at Grow Yoga in 2020. She trained under Shanon Buffington to understand the complexities of yoga specifically during pregnancy through postpartum & she attributes much of her creativity in yoga sequencing to extensive trainings and workshops through Life Power Yoga. Sarah is certified and licensed to teach prenatal yoga, facilitate meditation as well as train teachers as a member of Yoga Alliance, YACEP.

Always authentic, moving from that beautiful place of love.

Sarah is also a prenatal yoga certified teacher and a member of Yoga Alliance YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) educator. I enjoy helping students as well as other teachers further their study and understanding of yoga, meditation and movement. Sarah has partnered with I Choose Change to promote a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. powerful, peaceful, soul-loving yoga.

I vow to always be authentic, moving from that beautiful place of love. I invite you to come as you are and take what you need from the practice. Yoga requires no modifiers, it simply asks that you show up.

From my heart directly to yours,

Namaste

Mommy+Me

Separation anxiety has always been a normal part of our life. It comes with the territory of being someone’s person, of being their North Star when a change or shift happens.

Separation anxiety rears its ugly, cuddly head when our kids feel scared, feel a life shift, or sometimes is just unexplainably bothered by something that only my husband or I can mend. We’ve had a few different bouts of separation anxiety and have used different tools with each stage.

My most favorite tools are bracelets. We wear them together at the start of a new shift and whenever we feel scared or worried or anxious our bracelets serve as reminders we are all in this together and you are LOVED. I have teamed up with Slate Designs to create a special collection for all Parents/Grandparents/Guardians and their kiddos. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

"I believe the mat is my mirror. I cry there. I laugh there. I pray there. I've talked to my babies there, given my all there, experienced possibly every emotion there and it is all useful."
